Briefcase now handles receipts and invoices arriving in email bodies rather than as file attachments.
Processing emails without attachments
Briefcase now supports handling emails lacking attachments. The system automatically generates a PDF from the email body, then extracts essential details, categorizes the information, and assigns VAT accordingly. Duplicate detection functions normally—if users resubmit identical transactions via email or manually created PDF, the system identifies and handles them as duplicates.
What else we've shipped
- Invoice line editing now features dynamic tax and total calculations based on unit price and quantity changes
- Fixed: Account descriptions for newly created Xero chart of accounts entries now submit correctly
- Fixed: Transaction deletion for disconnected Xero connections now functions as expected
